The Bergman project included a full interior facelift, with each classroom receiving new paint, flooring, and ceiling tiles. Upgrades continued in the library and special classrooms. Outside the school, Frankie the Dolphin received a brand new pedestal to stand on to greet the students every morning before school.
The front office was upgraded to a secure entryway to meet school safety regulations and a conference room was added. A building addition of a 4,000 sq. ft. FEMA-rated storm shelter was a major update to school safety. The use of the addition as a multi-purpose room and STEM area serve the students in fair weather.
