Patrick is a native Kansan whose construction roots go back to boyhood 4-H projects. He graduated from Flint Hills Vo Tech College in Construction Technology and later earned a degree in Construction Science and Management from Kansas State University. Patrick is a graduate of the Leadership Manhattan Class of 2015 and a 2020 Leadership Kansas graduate. He has been active in the Flint Hills Area Builders Association, serving as President in 2013. He currently serves on the Wabaunsee Township Volunteer Fire Department, the AGC of Kansas Board, and the City of Manhattan Code of Appeals Board. Patrick is the founder of the Charger 329 Foundation and currently serves on the boards of MATC Build and the Manhattan Retirement Foundation. In 2025, he was honored as the recipient of the Lyle Butler Distinguished Leadership Award. Patrick leads through example with a dedicated work ethic and a genuine passion for his profession.

He gets to talk to important people about decisions, and I think make a lot of important decisions for the business. If there is a problem, most of the time it gets told to him or actually 100% of the time.
Well, the last time I was there, he went to like 4 meetings which took 2 hours, then he did a lot of calls and worked on his computer for a long time. I think he makes final decisions, finishes things up and has meetings about upcoming projects.
He is a construction worker. I’m pretty sure he designs it, makes plans. He is the one who makes the decisions for what it’s going to be.
