The original Immaculata church in St. Marys, Kansas burnt down due to an electrical fire 1978, destroying the entire building. After 45 years of waiting, the new Immaculata church opened its doors to its parishioners May 3, 2023. The project was fully funded on donations from Catholics from over 35 countries.
St. Isidore's Catholic Student Center was originally built in 1963 and got its name from Isidore, patron of farmers. The stained glass windows of the original sanctuary were saved and re-used in the construction of the new church.
