‘Tis the season for merriment, camaraderie, and celebration! The Annual BHS Christmas Party, held at the Union Pacific Train Depot, brought together employees from across all jobsites and the office. The day was filled with games, gifts, holiday cheer and delicious food.
The party serves as a small thank you to the employees. “I am proud of how hard everyone has worked this year; the success of BHS would not be possible without you,” says Patrick Schutter, President. “…I want to say thank you to all of you for your dedication to BHS Construction.”
The spirit of friendly competition was alive with the Guess How Many Candy Canes and Gumdrops games. Jars filled to the brim with these sweet holiday treats challenged attendees to estimate the correct quantity. Guesses ranged from conservative to wildly optimistic, and the winners emerged with a sweet victory, taking home delightful prizes and earning bragging rights for their keen estimation skills. Dagen Goodner was the proud winner of the candy canes and Victoria Moore was the winner of the gumdrops.
For sports enthusiasts among the BHS Construction family, the KSU Basketball ticket raffle added an extra layer of excitement to the day. Attendees eagerly wrote their names on tickets, hoping for the chance to score passes to the KSU v Baylor basketball game in January. Josh Moore was the winner of the basketball raffle, taking home four tickets to enjoy with his family to cheer on the Cats.
No holiday celebration is complete without indulging in delicious food, and Moe’s BBQ did not disappoint. The catering spread featured an array of holiday ham accompanied by various sides. The homecooked-style meal filled the room with home felt warmth.
BHS wishes everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
