Annual BHS Baseball Tailgate

Family and friends of BHS gathered at Tointon Family Stadium to watch K-State take on Oklahoma State at our annual Baseball Tailgate! Even though it was chilly, it was a great day for a ‘Cats win!

Riley County EMS Headquarters Groundbreaking

After 29 years in the making, Riley County EMS broke ground on their new headquarters! This new space consolidates all departments into one building, while offering cutting-edge training spaces and simulation technologies to hone hands-on skills. Individual bunks and co-ed recreational spaces allow for rest and rejuvenation, ensuring personnel are ready to serve Riley County!

Wamego Health Center MRI Addition Ribbon Cutting

The MRI Addition to the Wamego Health Center is complete! With a May 3rd ribbon cutting, this new facility provides the Wamego community with a welcome change from the mobile MRI service previously utilized by the Health Center. While the mobile service often required patients to wait several weeks, this permanent addition allows for patients to receive imaging services right away.

Building K Groundbreaking

Building K broke ground on a new warehouse on April 4th! Building K is a speculative industrial warehouse space, located at 1201 Kretschmer Dr in Manhattan. The building aims to attract new businesses to the Manhattan area.

Project Updates

Kansas State University Track and Field
K-State Track and Field has a new home! Located in the building originally used as a K-State Football practice facility, this new complex replaces the old track at Ahearn Field House, where athletes had been practicing and competing for over 70 years. February 1st marked the first day fans and competitors were welcomed to the new venue. The state-of-the-art complex features a new eight-lane track with purple surfacing, and new jumping and throwing spaces.
Lofts at 1700
The Lofts at 1700 project is progressing! This show unit previews what the high-end condominiums will look like upon completion. Situated just a mile north of Aggieville, the building provides comfortable and stylish living close to campus.
St Joseph’s Parish Life Center – Olpe, KS
The Parish Life Center at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Olpe is complete! The new space is located on land that was previously occupied by St. Joseph’s Catholic School. Established in 1885, the school was closed in 2013 and demolished in 2023 to make way for construction of the new parish center. On April 7, Archbishop Naumann blessed the building and cut the ceremonial ribbon.
