Timeline
BHS Construction History
For almost 60 years, BHS has built quality spaces in collaboration with our communities, our clients and our trade partners. With every project, we build on the foundation of service set by our leaders, both past and present.
1965
Company is established under the name Baril-Rogers, Inc. in Manhattan, KS.
1982
Wayne Sloan becomes an owner and named president. Current name of BHS Construction is established.
1989
BHS completes largest project to date, a $1.5 million church, and has 10+ employees.
2012
Patrick Schutter is named President, Levi Schneider is named Vice President, and Zach Sloan is named Treasurer, all becoming part owners of BHS.
2020
Rex Adams is named VP of Operations. Company Headquarters located downtown Manhattan, KS.
Today
BHS Completes over $50 million in consutrction projects per year, has completed over 2000 projects in the state of Kansas, and has 70+ employees.
